The Marketing Chronology

Privacy Policy

Privacy information for The Marketing Chronology, last updated 14 July 2026.

Google Analytics

The Marketing Chronology uses the Google tag and Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-4DB763GPJY to understand visits and improve the publication. Google Analytics can process information such as page views, referring pages, approximate location derived from network information, browser and device details, and interaction events. Reports are used in aggregate. The site does not currently run advertising.

Consent Mode and your choice

Google Consent Mode v2 is set before the Google tag is configured. Analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization are denied by default. Analytics storage changes to granted only after you choose Accept analytics. Declining keeps analytics storage denied, and the three advertising-related consent signals remain denied in either case.

Cookies and local storage

When analytics consent is denied, the Google tag operates with denied analytics storage and does not set Analytics cookies. Google may still receive limited consent-state and cookieless measurement signals. If analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may use first-party identifiers to distinguish visits. The site stores your granted or denied choice in local storage under rv-google-analytics-consent-v1 so the same choice applies across rishabhvats.com. Use the Privacy choices button to review or change it at any time.

Hosting logs

The static site may receive standard server logs from the hosting provider for security, reliability and operational purposes. These logs are separate from the optional Google Analytics measurement described above.

External links and embedded media

The library links to third-party sources and videos. Visiting those services is governed by their own privacy policies. A third-party service may receive technical information when you open its link or media.

Google controls

Google provides information about how it uses data from sites that use its services and offers browser and account-level controls, including a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Those Google controls are separate from this site's Privacy choices button.

Future advertising

Advertising is not enabled. If advertising is added later, this policy and the consent interface will be updated before advertising-related consent can be requested or used.
